    For some, the annual Winona Peach Festival marks the beginning of the end of the summer season - but there are more than enough events to stretch out the season as we get set to welcome fall colours.

    West Niagara Fair:   Sept 8 to 11

    The West Niagara Agricultural Centre

    This is an exciting year for the West Niagara Agricultural Fair as it marks its second year at the all-new West Niagara Agricultural Centre on the corner of Mud and Mountain Roads in Grassie. The grounds and several buildings are ready to accommodate all the fair-goers for great family fun, good entertainment and of course ag-ed!

    Niagara Wine Festival: Sept 10 - 25

    St. Catharines

    It is all about Niagara and wine! This is Canada’s largest celebration of wineries and vineyards. Celebrate the 65th Niagara Wine Festival and experience a wine and culinary experience that truly showcases the best of Niagara!     The Welland Fair: Sept 16 - 18

    Niagara Regional Exhibition, 1100 Niagara Street North, Welland  

    The Niagara Regional Exhibition is the home of the Welland Fair. Held the second weekend after Labour Day each September, the fair boasts great family-fun with entertainment, live music, horse and livestock shows, baby contest, agricultural displays and so much more.

    Grimsby Farmers’ Market’s Street Feast: Sept 22

    Those who missed out on the Grimsby Farmers’ Market’s first dinner on Main Street earlier this year are in luck.

    After a successful inaugural event the market is hosting a second Street Feast on Sept. 22 at 5 p.m. The farm-to-table meal will feature fresh items sourced directly from that day’s Grimsby Farmers’ Market.

    The Niagara Falls International Marathon, on Sunday, October 30th, 2016, is the only marathon in the world that starts in one country and ends in another!

    With expos, marathons and fun races, the Niagara Falls International Marathon has become a popular event since its beginning in 1974.
